Our beautiful Hotel and Spa is nestled in beech forests and overlooks the fjord. The historic Main Building was founded as Denmark's first tuberculosis sanatorium in 1900.
You can book hotelnights or lovely spa stays which ALWAYS include access to the Thermal Baths and Thalasso Spa, three course dinner, accommodation and breakfast buffet.

Room types
The hotel rooms spread across three buildings. When you book your stay, choose from a selection of room types as well as a view and balcony.
- Rooms and suites in the main building are decorated in a manor house style or classically modern theme. It is possible to choose rooms with beautiful views and a balcony overlooking the park and forest.
- Saugman Palæ, located opposite the main building, offers 23 modern rooms in a classic contemporary décor. The rooms look out onto the forest or the Main Building.
- Rooms in Vesthuset have handicap access and are located in Vejlefjord Rehabilitation Centre approximately 100m from the hotel. The centre specialises in neurological rehabilitation.
Nature around us
The park, the beach and the forest invites for long walks. A total of more than 20 km of original treatment paths with of varying length and severity will take your to different sights. Along the paths you will find benches where you can take out a rest, enjoy the stunning views and the scents of the sea. The reception will provide you with a map of the park including routes and highlights.
Spa and wellness
The Thermal Baths offers seven different pools, special showers, steam rooms and saunas. Pure indulgence for all your senses.
In Thalasso Spa you can float in our large saltwater pool and immediately feel the beneficial qualities of saltwater then experience the healthy salt sauna and the impressive salt wall.
Add a sublime spa treatment and make your stay even more luxurius. We cater to body and soul with moments of silence, care and nurture. The range of spa treatments is large and varied.
After your treatment, unwind in our delightful Spa Lounge and/or enjoy the landscape and nature.

Our kitchen lovingly creates healthy, authentic food based on the Danish food culture offering fresh produce from the current season.
